Michelangelo said the best way to judge the essential elements of a sculpture is to throw it down a hill and the unimportant pieces will break away. Sometimes, life is like that. It tosses us down a hill. When we reach the bottom, only the important things are left, and that's when our vision clears. That's when we hold on tight to what we know, while hope stirs inside us. It's all a matter of perspective.

I think at times, we all delude ourselves a little in believing that we are who we are and thats sufficient. But in life, when you start to lose control over the things you care most and everything just starts to break into painful peices, all you can do is to hold on, perhaps, to the only lifeline you may find with crippling strength. At that moment, we begin to realise that deep within, we all want to be something more; something greater; something beyond the ordinary.

And it's hard to watch things change when all you want for them is to stay the same. It's funny but stupid how you want everything and nothing at the same time. It's crazy when you want to let go but you keep holding on and when you want to move on but you're stuck right where you started. When feelings come and go and you can't decide what you want. When you have so many things to say but you don't know where to start. When you want them in your life so bad but all you can do is push them farther and farther away. It's so hard to think back to how things used to be and look at it now and realize that things are different and they may never be the same. You tell yourself it's not worth it but if it didn't really matter you wouldn't spend so much time thinking about it.

Jumper is such a retarded show. I mean the teleporting thing is kwel but the ending is shit. Honestly, sucky ending. Like the producer ran out of sponsorship/money for the film or something. Its like, at least add in a little more climax which may probably help to make the show a teeny bit more sensible and "whole". Sigh. But you do feel like jumping after that haha. Went back to the school's Vday/icebreaker party but we were a tad late. The party ended like rather early ? But anyhow, met up with Reggie Veggie and Serene then went to dine at Miso.

Anyhow, I really miss Singapore's Valentine's day. Actually, more of SN's Vday. Oh gosh. I regret giving roses to people last year for Vday cause it was so temporary. Didn't occuer to me that, that will probably be my last Valentine spent in Singapore :( SIGH. Emoness ebbing in. Btw, hope you guys back there have a wonderful Valentine. HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS !

AGGGRGHHH IUEGBHFAEBFIBEARKJB2#$^#%$&$%*^ ): I miss celebrating Lunar New Year in Sinagpore. Sigh. All the Angpaos, Oranges, sweets & visiting (I love visiting !). Haha okay I'm a weird girl. It has gotten to me that normal teenagers do not like visiting. But hey ! Its fun :D I get to eat free nuts & chocolates (YUM). Oh well, despite my fervent desire to just hop on to a plane and fly back to Sg for a day just to celebrate New year, my very first not-spent-with-parents-new-year was equally interesting and warm-hearted.

Went out with Pyins, Julia & Jolene after school. Headed to Somerfield to grab our ingredients & then to Primark to get our 'auspiscious' clothes :] Okay I guess we took quite a long time to get the shopping for clothes done cause the fish from the supermarket stinked really badly when we opened it. Thats the reason why I never liked fish - they stink. So when we got all our stuff, rattled to Pyin's place to make our New year dinner ! We made Tomyam & Bakuteh. Obviously I wasnt the one who did the cooking. The house wont be there by now if I did it haha. Oh and apparently, Home Econs finally proved to me that it isnt a redundant subject which only makes you feel worse about your hopelessness in cooking. It came into good use during the chopping of the ingredients HAH, I chopped beautifully yo.

The tomyam was a success ! But the other one didnt quite turn out the right way. It tasted a little like sugar+salt+distilledwater&herbs. Hahaha but we tried to finish it anyhow. Pyins's hostess is honestly the coolest hostes everrrrrr ! She makes like the best Chappati :D :D Unlike JTW. After dinner was just a lot of girl talks which was damn fun & hilarious. And we totally forgot the time ! I reached home at like 12am and I was fricking scared on the journey back home since my house isnt exactly the nearest place anyone can get. I kept having wild immaginations about kidnappers/rapists jumping out of the bush and attack me. I had this urge to pick up the phone and call Loulou to whine buttttttttttttt I was a tad too slow to realise I was in Englang which is 3487532948245632465375 gazillion miles away from her :( Oh and I almost freaked myself out cause I kept thinking that my 412 bus is a ghost bus and its bringing me to Hades or something -_- Oh well, anyhow I reached home safe and sound. Lesson learnt: Never ever ever stay out this late. I probably just go mental and blow up like an over oxygenated pufferfish.

Teeheehee ! Yeah :] It wasnt fabulous but it was still great.
Btw, Pyinnie is officially known as PYINS :] :] Hahah I'm a creative gal. Everyone is going to wear red for school tmrw ! Yay we're tradition people !

Law test period was a complete disaster. Well, considering the fact that we all know the question beforehand and had like two weeks to prepare for it ? But of course, being the usual typical Singaporean student, I only started memorizing the stuff the night before. Last minute studying is da bomb. Anyhow, thats not the point. Point is, its impossible to finish a full law question in 45mins ! Thats total crap. Its even worse than combined humanities ? So despite having the full essay on the disadvantages of the Mischief rule well rehearsed in my head, I ended up writing only 4 sentences for the question. Awesome. Hopefully, Math's a saving grace.

Did I mention about my recent fetish for shades ?

Was out with Hash, Zabibo & Naz on Saturday. Did some shopping for necessities. I finally got my holepuncher and of course, have managed to do some decent filing :] I am such a orgarnized and neat gal. Hurrah. Had much fun and laughter on Saturday haha, I mean the day was simply hilarious :) Btw, heard of human sale ?

HAHAHAHAHAH. Ask me why do I look like a riceball. Cause its fricking cold here ! So cold that I have been wearing my bullet proof jacket for a week its starting to stink. Sigh. Go away Feburary, shoo !
