Next update: Half term, Oxbridge
Friday, 22 August 2008 @ 17:34
Met Loulou yesterday !! Like finally, after a week. Ate at Cartel and studied for a bit. A. Bit. Hahahahah. Oh and I got new games installed on my Nintendo :D :D :D I swear the Elite Beat Agents game is damn fun and so is Puzzle Bubble ! So anyhow, we just kept talking for the whole day. Talked about, everything and anything. I miss sharing sessions like that really. Its healthy ! After meeting Lou, went back home. Andrea came over at around 10 from her school which is conveniently 100 steps away from my house. Played Nintendo and watched Olympics until Manda came over. Omg speaking about Olympics, I got so much to say ! But wait. Sleepover comes first. So played a few rounds of German Bridge then head downstairs to play Guitar Hero and DDR. Macs delivery was a must-call for every sleepover we have, so this time was no exception. Oh yknw, presently the Happy Meal Toy is a chop featuring the Olympics Mascots: Beibei, Jingjing, Huanhuan, Yingying, Nini. Andrea got 'Nini' and she got annoyed when she realised that it was the map of Africa hahahhahaha.
Andrea sneaked off in the morning to school so Manda and I got up really late. Went down to town to get some stuff and it started to pour like crazy. We kinda struggled with what we should do after that but we finally settled down at United Sq's Starbucks. Sat there and talked for like hours ! Best person to talk to and be most comfortable with, period. There's a reason why she's my BFF :3
Okay, OLYMPICS.
Sigh China is probably going to hit 50 Gold medals now. But I figured that, number of Golds really doesn't matter. ITS THE TOTAL NUMBER OF MEDALS THAT MATTERS, HAH. Okay, kidding. I guess Olympics is important cause it pushes athletes to their limits; to discover what they are capable of; to allow them to learn from other competitors; to challenge themselves and to find passion in what they do again. This year's Olympics is amazing :] And I guess, the reason why I'm so against China winning is because they are so into the idea of being first, that they blemish the true Olympic spirit. But this year's Olympics, is truly something China should be proud of. No doubt, they are really really good.
So anyhow, USA totally owned the 400m relay today :] ;] Both men and women like, bwahahaha. So I was really depressed after all the Baton-dropping but today's results really cheered me up. High jump is da bomb. Its so unfair cause all female high jumpers have like to-die-for physiques. Finally caught Synchronising swimming today, omg omg its so pretty ! Like art, or rather, more than that. Russia is just... speechless. Like omg, their patterns and synchronisations are absolute perfection. Like Sync swimmers float underwater using their hands ?!?!!? Amazing. Spain's routine is really good too but their suits are really voodoo-ish. I really like Canada's one tooooo ! China's one was really meaningful; you can literally feel the Chinese's Spirit, so they say. RUSSIA FTW.
Speaking about Russia, Kanaeva Evgeniya is spectacular ! I love her routine with the Hoop. She's like close to flawless and she made everything seem so effortless and easy. But my favourite is still Anna Bessonova cause she's so cute and as a matter of fact, the judges were really cuckoo for giving her a 17.85 for clubs, she deserved like so much better. I still prefer artistic to rhythmic though, I got this fetish for spins and somersaults. And plus, USA owned A gym, heehee. Gym and Sync swimming are probably the most beeeeeeeeutiful sports to watch, they all look so stunning !
Okay shit, I need to sleep now. Bye ;]

Eight short months, but nothing less than an eight year friendship :] Years from now, I won’t remember every day, or the things that made us laugh so hard until our stomachs hurt, but I’ll always remember that you were the one who was always here for me. Love you future housemate ! UK will be a torture without you, xoxo Shopping, pool, Sushi, Neoprintss, non-alcoholic drinks (Emperor's smile) & Mandrian's revolving tower. What more can I ask for ? - Imagine how many stories are hidden under just one smile.

Before I commence on today's events I shall update a little bit on work. Last day at Gleneagles was really cool. The experience I've gained there for the past one month is truly invaluable. Here's to all the Doctors (my mentors), lovely nurses & the ever so grascious patients - Thank you ! The road ahead will be tough, but giving up will not be an option :3 (At least I hope so !) So anyhow, Liposuction is seriously the grosses thing. Jesus. Its even worse than transplants and implants or even labours. FATS FATS FATS. Ohmygod. I'm going on a diet. Okay, yeah so, I saw a nose job today. It was quite funny. I think the patient had like Michael Jackson's nose.
 With Brains :)
Picture number 6 is an attempted jump shot, which explains my lack of hands (if you look closely). Hahahah cool or what :] So we didn't succeed in any jump shots cause I've got a lousy camera RAH. Anyhow, going back to SN is fun as usual ! Oh and I got a new pair of slippers thanks to Bimbo my pet (sniggers) hahahahahhaha. Love you Bimmmmmmmmmmmm <3 Town with Felicia wjw tmrw ! This week is going to spectecular. - I guess at times, we tend to lose ourselves when we get angry, when hatred surges up to our chest and engulffs the head. But truly - just like how there is pain behind every beauty - the only reason people get angry is to cover up the hurt. At least thats what I think. Like yknw, how one can actually breakdown in tears cause of anger ? Nah, I never believed in that. There can be only two reasons to shedding tears. One, is overwhelmig happiness, and the other, the complete antithesis. Anger is never the primary source, pain is.

Monday = Working day & above pictures show that I'm working very hard. (Not) Went down to Gleneagles today making a futile trip. Dr. Kuek has no patients today, okay well to be specific, there isn't any operations today - only consultations. Apparently, the woman who is suppose to have her eye bags done today decided to have flu. How cute. SIANXZXZXZ. Oh well, at least I get to watch my Olympics on my cute little Tv set (points above) in my Fifa World Cup shirt. Hahaha okay that was random, but it kinda link doesnt it ? Fifa, Olympics, Fifa, Olympics. Totally goes :3 Athletics is so interesting; not as pretty & grandiose as Gym but, very tantalizing. USA better own athletics man. China is crazy - 35 Golds like ohmaegod. If that Liu Xiang person did not opt out, they'll have like 36 ?!! *Heartattacks* Anyhow, like any other Sgreans I'm very proud of our silver :D :D :D Although we got badly trashed by China, the match with Korea was really good. Oh and Sandra Izbasa is a very dangerous girl. Nobody expected her to do that well ! Last but not least, they say. I thought Shawn Johnson was so going to own A gym. I think I'm stopping work on Weds, then can play on Thurs & party on Sat & Sun <3 before I start packing, in the hopes that my baggage will not exceed 20 kg if not I'll need to either ask for allowance on the account that I'm a student or, I can just happily kope some space from Lihx and Fel heehee. Thats it ! I shall go play my Pokemon like Twinnie suggested. Sigh, nobody is going to help me kill my boredom like Twinnie after the 27th ): Sighhhhhhh. Anyway, note to Bestfriend: I bet the Korean girl gorges herself with steroids thats why her stamina so high. Hahahahaha. Loveyewww :3 - We are only asked to love, to offer hope to the many hopeless. We don’t get to choose all the endings, but we are asked to play the rescuers. We won’t solve all mysteries and our hearts will certainly break in such a vulnerable life, but it is the best way. We were made to be lovers, bold in broken places, pouring ourselves out again until we’re called home.

You can't put a limit on anything. The more you dream, The farther you'll get. - Michael Phelps Omg, go go USA ! Phelps is da bomb I tell you, the bomb. 8 Olympic Golds ! Beat that China, beat that :] Okay, so anyhow its quite clear that China will own this year's olympic but STILL. Go go USA & GBR :] Rebecca Adlington was spectacular. And for gym, Nastia Liukin is awesome beyond awesome though Yang Yilin was really good too. She probably lost due to the lack of meat. Oh & I'm going to name my son Speedo and maybe he'll have chance to beat Usin BOLT who really lived up to his last name. Or if by any chance I get to marry Usin BOLT, my son will be called Speedo Bolt and he will definitely become the fastest boy in the universe without a doubt. Speedo Bolt, take that. So i've also considered names like Jumpy/Spring (Bryon), Tennis/Spin (Federer) and Float/Dive (Phelps) :] So my future son can either be, a really "dashing" sprinter, an incredulous basketball player who can do 1000 slamdunks in a minute, a brilliant beyond brilliant tennis player with spin balls which are impossible to catch or simply a swimmer who can achieve Gold in all the swimming events (except for the women's one) there are in the WORLD. Bwahahahahha. Btw, Japan has really cute Gymnasts. Yknw, the innocent-yet-extremely-macho-looking ones ? Yeah that kind :3 Alright, enough of Olympics fever.
More National Day pictures :] TRC is a happy clique. I'm going to miss them most when I leave for UK again. They are way better than Summer sales. Love you guys, plenty. I think we'll have one more party coming up before the 27th so yay yay yay. I wonder why are there so many August babies, hmm. Okay I'm going to try to write my reports and do maths after this altough my Nintendo is extremely tempting, sigh. Alrighty, later mates.

Look after my heart; I left it with you. - Twilight.
Results are :D :D :DThank you, I really want to thank you.
I, Leelingjing, promise to work hard & not shortchange myself. Okay, thats my Autumn resolution ! Work tmrw, sighhhhh. Hopefully its as slack as today's :] Hellooooooooooo TRC, can we have another date soooooooooon ?
I want to watch Mama Mia & HSM III. This song is an inspiration: Wild Horses - Natasha BedingfieldI see the girl I wanna be Riding bare-back, care-free Along the shore If only that someone was me Jumping head-first, head-long Without a thought To act and damn the consequenceHow I wish it could be that easy But fear surrounds me like a fence
I wanna break free All I want is the wind in my hair To face the fear, but not feel scared
Wild horses I wanna be like you Throwing caution to the wind, I'll run free too Wish I could recklessly love like I'm longing to
I wanna run with the wild horses Run with the wild horses - Everyone is looking for themselves in someone else.

I just want to see her smile again. I just want her to know that I don't care about the scars - The JokerCaught two movies for the price of one :] Love Guru & Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Hahahaha. Love Guru was very very very very lame (although not as ludicrous as Meet the Spartans) but yeah its very very lame. It's quite funny though, yknw, in a lameeeee way. Journey was akin to Nim's Island but it was still entertaining anyhow. The freaky parts which made me slide down my chair were really.. unexpected and scary. At least to me and Manda who were obviously flabbergasted and not to Andrea who was like laughing away -.- (for no reason). Anyhow, Journey over Love Guru. Period. We camwhored quite a bit. Yeah (thats an understatement). I figured out that most of the pictures can't be posted cause majority of them are shakyyyy as Andrea's camera hate mirrors and Marina's GV has A LOT of mirrors (excellent camwhoring material). Hahahaha ohyeah, just like what Andrea said in her blog, if you want to know our secret to a watch-one-get-one-free movie adventure, feel free to contact anyone of us :] Hahahahahhahahaa. After di-moving, train-ed down to 三巴万 to meet Twinnie and Bim. Stayed at Twinnie's palce for awhile, had dinner and left for home. Okay so this voice inside my head keeps telling me that I only have fricking 3 weeks left before school reopens and I got so much to do ! Like yknw, ___________________________________________________ this much. And I DON'T WANT TMRW TO COME SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT. So yeah I was doing Maths just now (leftover from yesterday) and truth to be told, its fricking hard & I have no idea what it is talking about. Like even Calculus looked so bloody difficult ): Sigh, oh well, I shall try to conquer them or I'll just go back and borrow Reggie's homework :] Off to school now to meet Bim & orange bowl <3

It's been weeks since I've logged on to Medicalnewstoday to yknw, enrich and familiarise myself with the medical world and all the bombastic, esoteric medical terms, so that I'll be fully prepared for my "journey to become a doctor". Sigh, why didn't I pick an easier subject to tackle ? Answer: Too late to turn back now and besides, there's probably no other subjects that intrigues me as much as medicine does BUT, but, Medicine is a BROAD Term just like how LOVE is a big word. Hence, I truly admire people who can say, without any inhibitions, that they love medicine & doctors who truly have passion for their career. Can you imagine how much they must give in order to fill ? I'm getting dizzy. So anyway. top on today's medical news is that smart scientists apparently found a way to manipulate the genes of old people by using two correlative mechanisms to prevent the slow down of CMA (Chaperone-mediated Autophagy) -I have seriously no idea what the hell is that but I suppose its something to do with cellular proteins in the body (shrugs)- hence, allowing organs to remain young and active even at old age. It's like when you're 88, you will still be having a lung/liver/kidney of an 8-year-old. How cool is that ! But hopefully, that doesn't apply to the brain or the heart. Can you imagine ! Okay so anyway, new discovery :] Not Human-test yet, of course like duhhhh, but it was tested on mice and results are positive. Alright, I've been slacking for 1.5 weeks so far doing nothing which is related to school, work or homework but I had a great time :] (See.. no school + no homework + no work = Having a great time) Tell me who disagrees man. So anyhow, Regina came over last Monday and she stayed for 3 nights. I had a great time with her, the company was fabulous :] So we shared a lot and got to know each other so much better and poof, she's gone already hahahahha. No pictures taken cause we were both camera-less. Thursday was catching up session with Krislyn which is indubitably, by longest friend ever. Lets count: K2, P1-6, S1-4 & JC1 that adds up to...TWELVE YEARS. Omg, even longer than Twinnie. So anyway, I really missed my longest friend ): We walked like almost the whole of town, talking, laughing, just like those days. Oh and we met really weird homosapians which are, although nothing compared to those met in UK, truly bizarre. Friday was BTS with Loulou, a failed attempt to watch the school's national day celebration cause they didn't have one -.-. Then zoomed down to vivo to get my Bimbo's sexyseventeenth birthday present. Three words: Walked A Lot.

Miss Sexy Seventeen of the Year :) Okay to be really clear, my Bim's birthday is on the 8 of August (She's an olympic baby !) Hahahah I think our celebration made people think that she's a National Day Baby. Pictures from Lou :]

Lou the lazy girl didn't upload the whole album ): Follow up later :D
